Yuri first joined our ventures team as Principal in 2020, focusing her attention on early-stage investments. Since then she has become an invaluable member of the Expa team, living the values and embodying the vision that’s so key to our DNA as builders. Yuri is someone who truly embraces teamwork, leads by example, and is well-liked by colleagues and founders alike.
Yuri’s previous experience as an operator, and more recently as late stage investor at Norwest Venture Partners prepared her to hit the ground running from day 1. Not only has she done an excellent job identifying great opportunities where Expa can partner with early stage entrepreneurs, but she has also served as a trusted advisor to our portfolio companies—providing invaluable hands-on guidance throughout their journey. Entrepreneurs continue to share their appreciation and turn to Yuri for support.
Now that she is a Partner, I and the Expa team are very excited about the increased impact Yuri will have on our ventures team. She will remain dedicated to finding pre-seed and seed opportunities for Expa and taking them from 0 to 1. We look forward to working together for years to come.
