Sofia has been with Expa since day one, and through all these years, she has become an indispensable member of the team. In everything that she does, Sofia is dedicated and meticulous, and tackles problems with deep expertise and know-how. Simply put, Expa would not function the way it does without Sofia and her team doing the critical work that they do.
To date, Sofia has been overseeing core components of Expa’s operations—including finance, accounting and funding—while also helping support incubated companies within the Expa Studio. The entire Expa team trusts her ownership attitude and high attention to detail—both qualities that are essential for her role. Sofia’s commitment to Expa’s mission of supporting early-stage entrepreneurs is unquestionable, and we’re proud to have her as part of our team.
I’m excited to share a very well deserved promotion for Sofia to Operations Partner—we couldn’t ask for a better partner to keep Expa running smoothly. In this new role, Sofia will have expanded responsibilities and will oversee all aspects of the firm’s operations. This includes managing Expa’s legal functions and working alongside our wonderful General Counsel, Liz Federowicz. Sofia will also take charge of other day-to-day operations, allowing our team to best focus on providing an amazing experience to the entrepreneurs we’re fortunate to partner with.
